Introducing myself

by

Hey, I built 1000songs to combat streaming fatigue and algorithmic overload. In an era of endless, disposable playlists, this project sets a strict human constraint: exactly 10 tracks per year, spanning a century of music from 1930 to 2030.

Inspired by late-night radio discovery, it lets you journey through music history. You can dial into the analog-style Radio Time Machine, generate a personal playlist starting from your birth year, or create and save your own offline 10-tracks-a-year archive directly in your browser.

Take a look and let me know: what single song defined the year you were born, or deserves a place in a 100-year timeline?
