I built Startr because I kept forgetting to follow up

by•

Hey everyone 👋

I’m the founder of Startr.

Like many solo founders, I was building in public, talking to people on X, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, Reddit…

And I genuinely thought I was “doing distribution right”.

The problem?

All my follow-ups lived in my head.I had warm leads in DMs, beta users asking questions.
People saying “sounds interesting, let’s talk next week.”

Not because they weren’t interested, but because I didn’t track anything properly.

I tried Notion, spreadsheets, and traditional CRMs.

They were either too heavy or too messy.

So I built Startr.

It’s basically a lightweight growth command center for solo founders:

– track prospects from social platforms
– log conversations in one place
– set follow-up dates
– see what’s overdue instantly
– generate AI follow-up messages when you’re stuck

Just something that actually fits how solo founders work.

Still early, still improving, and I’d genuinely love feedback from other builders here.

If you’re also juggling conversations across platforms, I’d love to hear how you manage it.
