Quick experiment: how would you describe your own writing voice?

There are three versions to pick from, how you think you sound, how others say you sound, how you actually sound on the page.

I tried this last year and the best I could come up with was "dry and definitely too long-winded.", which is basically nothing. My actual writing has dozens of quirks I couldn't name if I tried, and that's why prompting AI to write like you tends to fail. The parts of your voice that make it yours are usually the parts you can't name.
