Hi PH 👋 — solo dev building ApiTap, an ETL tool in Rust

Hey everyone 👋

Long-time reader, finally jumping in to say hi.

I'm a solo dev who's been building ApiTap for the past year — a

managed data extraction engine in Rust + Apache DataFusion. The

short story: I got hit with a $1,000 Airbyte bill once and thought

"there must be a lighter way to do this." So I started building.

Currently obsessing over:

→ Making ETL feel like clicking, not coding

→ Squeezing performance out of small workers (256 MB and below)

→ Learning how to launch (this is my first time!)

What I'd love from this community:

→ Chat with other solo founders building dev tools

→ Honest feedback before I launch ApiTap on PH
