Hi fellow Producthunters, My name is Yakov Filippenko and we founded Intch to really take networking into a new realm (to finally make online networking mutually beneficial). We all know professional networking is a key aspect of business development. It can make the world of a difference to a career and to a business. All highly successful people point to their professional networking at one point. Networking to me is more than just meeting people. I build real, strong networking ties through mutual help, collaboration, investing time and energy into relationships that are mutually beneficial. That’s why we put together this synergistic team to develop a modern professional networking tool based on mutual help and put social capital alive. We’re already thousands of professionals on Intch reaping the fruits of our networking labor on Intch. It’s fascinating to see how everyone builds their social capital assisting each other, developing stronger ties to one another, and getting professional guidance on their own requests. All of you into networking, experienced or novice, I’d love to get your feedback. I really want to do my part in making professional networking viable and fruitful with modern technologies. And I am sure Intch is a great step towards that. Let me know what you think!

Looks promising! I'm a novice in networking, so it's hard to understand where to start from. But your concept of requests offers a way, I'm def trying it out
Aram Shah
Hey! Thanks for the app, been using it for a while. Look promising!
Yakov Filippenko
@new_user_163720ddf7 Aram! Thanks for that and thank you for your feedback. Please let us know if you will have any issues with the app.

Hi! Intch is a very interesting tool to find the contacts you need. For me it’s the unique solution - it’s using my phone contacts to help me find friends & friends of friends for my specific request (HR request, consultation request, etc). Also it’s always fun to help others there.
Yakov Filippenko
@artem_bezrukov thanks for your feedback! We built this product for such people like you — who want to proactively help others. Thanks that you're with us!
Alexander Zhukov
It is always interesting to see the birth of the communities. Hope this will be the big one!
Gennadiy Bazhukov
@alexander_zhukov Thanks man. I hope it will.
J Scherbak
Really good niche app 🤙 Very easy to start using and getting value! Congrats, Yakov 👏 Have been watching Intch's journey right from an early MVP version start.
Yakov Filippenko
@j_scherbak Hi Jenya! Thanks a lot for that. We are still in progress. But every week it’s better and better.
Igor Zalutski
Cool idea! What's the differentiation from LinkedIn?
Yakov Filippenko
@igorzij hi Igor! Thanks for the question. 1) it’s automated. You don’t need to manually cold message other people 2) it supports the whole Process since the start of the conversation till the end 3) it helps you to manage your network for not just Intch users 4) networking is about assisting others. So, everyday Intch provides a set of opportunities to you. P.s. just try it :$

Gennadiy Bazhukov
@ivan_ivakin Thanks Ivan.

Looks really nice and full of potential! I do a lot of networking myself and I'm thrilled to see this one! Mutual help and collaborating is really how you build strong professional relationships. It's great to have an app for that. Hope to see it grow in the IT sector, and also in the Education and sector.
Yakov Filippenko
@antoine_marcq Hi Antoine! Thanks a lot for your feedback. We started with the IT vertical (just because we started with our peers). However, we already see that it's growing within other verticals. Thanks to the community of our users. So, please share with us any thoughts you have related to the product.
Maria Shusharina
Looking great. Don’t miss a chance to make some close and useful connections on the launch stage, while there’s quite a narrow community of involved early adopters from tech & startups
Yakov Filippenko
Wise advice!
Mary Lomer
wow, guys, good luck to you!
Yakov Filippenko
@mary_lomer thanks Mary! Will do our best.
George Levin
I like that the app replicates what we are already doing on social media and makes it more efficient
Gennadiy Bazhukov
@george_levin Thanks George. Exactly!
Celcius Systems
One of the best product I have ever seen of my choice.
Yakov Filippenko
@celciussystems Thanks a lot!
Gary Borg

Gennadiy Bazhukov
@gereth_borg Thanks, Gary!
Akshita Gupta
I love this new angle to collaboration you guys have brought up. It’s great to see that I can talk with fellow professionals and learn and preach simultaneously. The interface looks great and super easy to use as well. Can’t wait to try this out!
ayush gupta
This is legitimately so helpful, it seems like LinkedIn but with a fun and more utilitarian twist. The idea really seems to bring the ‘community’ back to the business world. I hope I can try this out very, very soon.
Yakov Filippenko
@gupta_ayushh We think about it a little bit different. We know that people actually do the same: they help others, invest time and energy, earn social capital and make the world better. We just want to create the best tool for it

I worked at Monster and CareerBuilder (product), and networking app/features were always a hot topic. Couple of initial thoughts: the screens and design feel like a well-built and mature app. Maybe not request the phone number right away. We here (on this thread/community) might be comfortable with it because we know what's going on, but typical user would rather first start with a non-phone requested login, then later add phone as an added measure of security once they trust the app more. Might be a friction point for some % of users (not sure if you've tested?). I got as far as building a profile and will continue again tomorrow. Maybe worth asking: have you considered allowing members to import their profile from somewhere (e.g., LinkedIn or similar)? Might be yet another removal of barrier to entry. At any rate, thanks, exciting opportunity here to offer something useful to the crowd that's looking to connect career-wise!
Yakov Filippenko
@roman_dzadzic thanks for such feedback! Phone number reduces the conversion by 16%. We will find a solution of how to handle it. Regarding your question about importing information. Unfortunately, LinkedIn doesn't share a lot via their API: mostly company and name/last name. But, we definitely will add this option in the nearest future.
