I tried this educational software and really liked the card-based design. It would be even better if the initial tutorial had a game-like dialogue feel. The grammar breakdowns are also quite good, but I found myself lacking the patience to continue. Maybe adding some gamified positive feedback would help.

Congrats on the launch of Iago, Team! 🎉 The design and functionality of the customizable curriculum feature are impressive. I particularly like how it allows users to pick and choose lessons aligned to their interests, making the learning experience highly personalized and engaging. This sets it apart from other language learning apps in the market. One thing that could enhance the user experience is an interactive vocabulary builder. Have you considered adding a feature that tracks and tests vocabulary retention? I think it would really complement the existing features and add more value for users. Keep up the great work and looking forward to future updates! 👍

@nelle_chambers Thank you for the kind words! And yes! This was an initial planned feature at launch but we actually wanted to do something different and see if we could let learners implicitly learn vocab through phrases. Ideally having enough phrase variations where only 1 or 2 of the words change -> implicitly gets the learner to learn vocab Though we might port over the vocab feature we had from our web app into this as well!
