A turing test disguised as a game.
Chat anonymously for two minutes and guess if you're talking to a human or an AI bot.
Challenge yourself to discern between human and AI conversations.
We liked the idea and decided to build our own from scratch. This was a great challenge and a good way to dive deep into the LLM space.
The game is very simple: chat anonymously with someone for 2 minutes, then guess if it was a Human or AI.
It already beats the original game's guess score: overall, humans are wrong 43-46% of the time on AIs with around 90k games a day (see our front page for stats).
I'm a programmer, and my wife is a UI/UX illustrator, so code is mine & AIs, design is hers.
We hope you like the style of our project and how it works :)
This is a full-time, long-term project for us; we don't plan to close it, we plan to develop it to something bigger (AI friend/girlfriend/boyfriend or probably neo dating) so any feedback is welcome.
@sentry_co You meant "captcha"? Haha, nice idea.
Aside from a joke, it will be unsolvable. We are approaching 50% wrong votes from humans, meaning our players cannot differentiate bots from humans.
@rrhoover for now not much, as it was made to replace it. Our AIs beat humanornot.ai quality score (theirs was 40%, we sometimes reach 47-48% and we can improve more).
We have a lot of plans to make it something better.
For now we were busy making it very stable + making AI really great at talking. The LLM load we get is quite challenging, some APIs even were not ready to load so many requests for token prediction (gpt 4 Open AI & Vertex AI gemini preview version), just shows how AI world of development with LLM is in its infancy.

Wow! I talked to it and it seemed so human but it was not. Really interesting! Congratulations on the launch team
I liked the game more when it was using XP to use extended chat then now.
I'll gladly pay you, but if free to play users can only send a couple of messages in extended chat, then i'll be paying to chat with no-one.
I get that costs are high cuz you gotta host all these AI's, but i think it would be better if there was another way to support the project, and if extended chat wasn't locked behind coins.

Hey there, Human Hunters :)
We stumbled upon the original https://humanornot.ai/ game after it closed by creators as it was a limited time research.
They were featured on Product Hunt too: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
