We got #2 product of the day as a bootstrapped startup - thank you PH community!!!
What a day!
Yesterday, Honestly launched on Product Hunt and finished with 480 upvotes and 130 comments, placing us among the top products of the day.
We ultimately finished 2nd and, more importantly, we had the opportunity to share our vision with thousands of founders, marketers, and product builders who believe customer feedback should be honest and accessible.
We are thankful beyond words for the support we received
To everyone who supported us—thank you.
Whether you upvoted, commented, shared our launch, tested the product, or introduced us to someone, your support meant everything. The Product Hunt community welcomed us with incredible encouragement, thoughtful feedback, and valuable conversations that will help shape our future.
What's Next: Top 3 Product of the Week!
While launch day is over, our Product Hunt journey isn't.
Our next goal is earning a spot as a Top 3 Product of the Week.
We'll continue connecting with Product Hunt members, gathering feedback, and sharing our story. Every bit of support helps!

Thank you everyone for showing support and curiosity for our product! It's been a wild day - time to get some rest and keep grinding.
Honestly
@kalvinio The grind was real but so were the results! Time to keep the momentum going for top 3 product of the week.
What was the single thing that drove the most upvotes on launch day?
Honestly
@new_user___1692026af1ff1571faf8b6b I would have to say a combination of involvement in the PH community, our product story, and personal connections. By community I mean the makers we've been supporting for months, the Whats App/ Slack groups of entrepreneurs sharing/supporting each others projects & businesses, as well as asking those we knew in tech for their support in our launch.
Congrats team for #2 spot. Wish you best luck for next step.
Tips for PH community to get a spot particularly when someone is just starting (like Bootstrapped)?
Honestly
@faisal_2420010 Hi Faisal, thank you very much! A few things I would suggest: Get involved in and support current makers/hunters. People that are already active in the community will make contributions that will matter, so create relationships that last early on by offering them support, ideas, and helping them spread the word. Another thing is social media- there are many builder/producthunt/entrepreneurial communities that are supportive of new projects being realized. Be sure to spread the word there.
Best of luck!
Massive congrats. Hitting #2 as a bootstrapped team is no joke, especially in a week with bigger players throwing around budget. That kind of result usually doesn't happen unless you've been building real relationships in the community for a long time, not just showing up on launch day asking for upvotes.
The thank you post itself is also a smart move that more founders should copy. Closing the loop with the people who supported you turns a launch moment into actual long-term goodwill. Way more valuable than the badge itself imo. Hoping the momentum carries into the next few weeks for you, that's usually when the real test of post-launch traction starts.
Honestly
@nolan_vu thank you Nolan! Really appreciate all of your kind words and support. We will definitely look to continue our momentum and show bootstrapped founders what is possible!
