We built inboxbid, a paid newsletter leaderboard

Hey everyone. Side build rather than a HeyNews release, but there is an offer attached.

inboxbid is a public leaderboard of email newsletters, ordered by the total each owner has paid to sit there, with the amount printed next to each one. No algorithm, no editorial picks, no revenue share.

Bids start at $1. Taking a seat costs a dollar more than the total that seat holds, and bidding under the top price still lands you on the board, lower down. Being passed moves your position, not your listing.

The founding offer: the first 25 bidders can add 30 free days of HeyNews Hobbyist, worth $39, at checkout. Any bid qualifies, so $1 does it. The trial and the listing are separate.

Live count of spots is at the top of the page:

Are you planning to track how much visibility or traffic each newsletter gets from its position on the board?

 yes, it's in the plans.

 click counts are now live!

Nice! That would be really interesting to see. It could make the leaderboard even more useful for newsletter owners.
