HEY - Email at its best, new from Basecamp

by
Email deserves a dust off. A renovation. Modernized for the way we email today.
With HEY, we’ve done just that. It’s a redo, a rethink, a simplified, potent reintroduction of email. A fresh start, the way it should be.

The pricing is absurd. 99$ per annum for e-mail management is not feasible, definitely in a big part of the world where 100% equals a monthly salary.
Temporarily useless to me before I can Send Mail As my work email, but will try again when that launches
Great work dears
I'm liking it so far. Just wish the desktop version had tabs like the ones in Gmail. Having to click on the pop-up menu every time you want to access your other inboxes is a little annoying. I created this mockup in Figma of what tabs would like in hey:
I’m only using HEY for a week or so but it already changed the way I use email.
is this working to my articles?
Probably the most exciting thing to happen to emails for a long time and then my heart sinks when I realise there's no Google mail login which basically renders it unusable for me. I have a small creative agency and I only ever use my work email address. I can't move our entire email service here once custom domains become available either so where does that leave people like me?
This product just look excellent. But I do not feel comfortable using it until it get a monthly subscription system.
I've been using Basecamp for close to 15 years. In the last 10 years you almost did nothing to improve the platform. Most other project management platforms are eons ahead in terms of UI/UX. Hopefully you'll treat Hey's evolution differently.
Tried it and, despite getting my perfect handle, it was not for me. I felt I was able to accomplish the same result much faster with Superhuman. That is, blocking in superhuman is much faster than "unblocking" in Hey. Maybe this is because I already practice decent email hygiene and have a burner email for signing up for things online.
