Have you noticed patterns in what kinds of search queries this works well for and what kind of queries give undesirable results at the moment? Congrats on the launch!
Hi Keshav, great question! Yes, right now i'd say there's more content leaning towards business, marketing and global development with a mix of news publishers as well as other topic-driven sources for sports, health, etc. What are you looking for and how can we improve our content?
As a data oriented person, I often look for graphical summaries instead of reading long articles. So I was just trying to search a few terms to see how well the product was working. The results for "world population" were awesome, but the results for "us state populations" / "us population by state" was mostly unrelated.
ah that's very helpful, thanks again! Yeah, we're working on search syntax and it's a pretty fun problem when it comes to "reading" charts :)
Great platform for comparative studies. Thanks team for providing useful data in a unique way. Special thanks to Farhan Mustafa for providing me everything i needed for a research paper. Keep it up!!
thanks for checking us out! We hope you continue using our platform for future data needs as well!!
Really slick UI on the mobile web version. Responsive, clean and consistent.
Thanks Shakeeb! Do you think you'd use this more on mobile or desktop?
Great product!
Thanks Sean! If there's anything else we can do to make it a better experience, please let us know!
Great UI and fast results! They could use some tuning though. For example if the search includes the word "forecast" it shouldn't show charts where the latest year is in the past.
Thanks for the tip Dante! That's actually super helpful, esp as we're currently designing filters for years, publishers & data sources. Any more thoughts like that, keep them coming!
Hi ! I love this idea but I'm curious about attribution, copyright issues etc for such a large variety of resources. Do you only index content that's free to use? How do you manage it?
Hi Corrina, thanks for checking it out! We index content under fair use principles by attributing & linking to the original source for all of our content. We are currently working on filters for image copyright types to make these issues easier to navigate. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Awesome, good to know! Thanks for taking the time to reply
Love the ease of use to get detailed stats. Personally it helps me win an argument every time! Nice work. Keep it up.
Thanks Siddharth! If you have any feedback, let us know.
Love the speed of getting the data so accurately.
Thank you for giving us a try! If you have any further feedback on the experience, please send it our way!
It’s an excellent engine
thank you for giving us a try! Please shoot us any feedback you have over time as we're always trying to improve!
How credible do you find the sources on Grafiti?
^ we're trying to assess whether we've done a better job of filtering the noise out from Google for you! If so or if not, do let us know.
