Tab-switching to ChatGPT 40 times a day — does it actually break your flow?

Copy from the doc → switch to ChatGPT → paste → copy the answer → switch back → paste. I do this dozens of times a day without thinking.

Does keeping AI in a separate tab actually cost you focus, or is it fine? Has anyone ever counted how many times they switch?
