I discovered GOG a while back and it's been great seeing their progress. Lots of old school games (such as Ultima) for PC, Mac, Linux. They've recently been adding new AAA games as well. Another nice aspect of GOG is their movies section, which has on-demand movies about games, for example, the one about Minecraft. Movies can be found here: http://www.gog.com/movies##sort=...

Thanks for sharing, I have been using GoG for years and love it. Have tons of games out there!
Also I am happy they keep on progressing. I haven't try GoG Galaxy yet (http://www.gog.com/galaxy) but it looks promising

GOG is a very nice possibility to find and buy classic, oldie, but also ewest and indie games mostly without DRM, and with guarantee they will run on your pc (especially important for older games). In this point GOG clearly wins over STEAM, which ports of old games don't run properly. And as a bonus you will get here additional stuff like soundtracks, art albums etc.
Another good benefit of GOG is, as Rami Habal already said, possibility for indie movies in VoD form. So perhaps a nice haven for new filmmakers too.
