How do you manage projects while coding? Browser tabs or IDE?
by•
I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
Most devs I know use:
• Jira/Linear in browser tabs
• Alt-tab between IDE and PM tool
• Copy task IDs back and forth
• Lose context every single time
But there's got to be a better way, right?
I built GitScrum Studio to solve this for myself - full project management inside VS Code/Cursor/Windsurf. Not just tasks, but boards, sprints, chat, wiki, everything.
Curious: How do YOU handle project management while coding?
Do you:
1. Keep browser tabs open?
2. Use IDE extensions (which ones?)?
3. Just use GitHub Issues?
4. Something else entirely?
What's your ideal workflow?
