SSHUI: Multi-Ansible Inventory Manager - Operate Ansible hosts faster from a single terminal UI

by
SSHUI is a keyboard-driven TUI for working directly with Ansible inventory files. Instead of switching between SSH clients, terminals, and separate tools for common tasks, SSHUI lets you operate on hosts from a single interface. Features: • Launch SSH sessions from inventory • Quick telnet and connectivity checks • Basic file upload/download • Port forwarding support • Keyboard-first workflow Currently tested on Windows. Looking for feedback and compatibility testing on Linux/macOS.

I built SSHUI because I got tired of wasting time jumping between tools just to do routine infra work. With multiple Ansible inventory files, even simple tasks like SSH access, quick port checks, or file transfers became fragmented across different tools and terminals. I wanted a single keyboard-driven interface that works directly from inventory and keeps everything in one place. This is an early version, currently tested on Windows. I’m especially interested in feedback from people working with Ansible, Linux, or infra automation. If you try it on Linux/macOS and it breaks, tell me exactly how.
