@rigoc congrats on the launch! Love this story. What's your take on Spotify's new chat? Genuinely curious. I've used it a few times, think it has potential, but hasn't been sticky for me yet.
I like this angle. Music is already social, but most apps still feel quite isolated in how you experience it. The idea of connecting people around shared taste and real-world events makes sense.
How are you handling discovery though? That’s always the bit that either keeps people coming back or not.

@becky_gaskell Thanks! Discovery will be based on personalized algorithm based on your favorite artists, genres, music, and similar events/communities you show interest in!
Curious how you differentiate from Spotify social features or existing music communities.

@ion_simion_bajinaru Spotify's social feature is quite limited. We combine communities event and social interaction in a centralized app.
@rigoc That makes sense, but communities and events already exist across Discord, Spotify and Instagram.
What specific behavior becomes possible in Genzi that isn't possible today?

How do you handle music licensing when users share tracks within the social feed? Building around music is a bold move, love the community angle, congrats!

@mcarmonas Great question, we use the Apple Music API, so licensing is handled through Apple's existing agreements with labels and rights holders. We're building the social layer on top of that infrastructure, not around it.
