Do productivity apps sometimes make you feel less productive?

I built Gentle Structure because I kept noticing something strange about productivity apps: the more features they added, the more managing the system started to feel like another task.

Gentle Structure takes the opposite approach. It focuses on a few priorities for the day, simple tasks, habits, mood, focused work sessions and reflection, without trying to turn every part of your life into a dashboard.

The idea is to give you enough structure to move forward without making you feel behind when you don't use everything perfectly.

I'm curious about other people's experience:

Gentle Structure - A calmer daily planner for overwhelmed minds

Gentle Structure is a calm daily planner for people who find traditional productivity apps overwhelming. Plan your day around 3 priorities, manage tasks and brain dumps, build habits, track your mood, use focused work sessions, and reflect on your progress. It’s deliberately simple, private and low-pressure, with local-first storage, optional cloud sync, and data export. No endless dashboards or productivity guilt, just enough structure to help you move forward.
