Would you like to have a 4-day workweek? And how would you compensate the extra day off?

The 4-day workweek is a big debate in many countries, and research claims it boosts productivity and overall employee happiness. Would you like to work 4 days instead of 5? And if so, would you work longer days or have fewer vacation hours in return?

Yes! I would spend the extra day studying and learning new things. I think there is a long way to go to understand how to make the 4-day workweek work across virtually all fields, but it needs to be done. It’s the way forward
absolutely!
I'd rather build multiple streams of passive income and shorten the work days to 4 instead of 5. Trading off with more working hours is a secondary choice to me but I'd prefer it over trading with vacations.
Absolutely. With creators economy booming around, this is a new gold rush for a lot of people at this moment.
πŸ€” How would this system work with discretionary time off?
I wish!
I would compensate by being more relaxed and happy.... except I work for myself and I would never buy that line......so it's back to seven days a week for me!
Isn't 7 days a week common for bootstrap makers and creators? πŸ™‚
I'm supportive of a 4-day work week for those that want it, and feel that it maximizes their productivity. I think freelance workers have been experimenting with things like this for a long time. You see many freelancers who prefer to batch their work into just 3 or 4 days. Others prefer spreading it across 6 days, or even 7. We're all different, and what works for one person won't necessarily work for another person!
I would love a 4-day workweek! I'd spend the extra day staring at my computer screen pretending to work, just like I do on the other four days. But at least I'd be at home in my pajamas while doing it.
In my organization, we adopted the 4-day work-week a few months back and it has increased productivity as well as also decreased our attrition rate to zero for the last 6 months.
Well, I increased it by 1.5 hrs.
I don't think there is more time in the day to work if want to have hobbies, interests, socialise or spend time with family.
Interesting, we tend to do 40 hour work weeks so that would require 10 hours a day and I personally love an hours lunch either with colleagues or family
I think if I get a solid four days out of myself and my team then why not a four day work week.
