Which is more productive for you: working from home or the office?

I'm very productive when I'm in the comfort of my home but there are days I find the structure of an office beneficial. I guess working hybrid makes me the most productive

It's too easy to be distracted by email, texts and Twitter — sitting down and focusing on a single thing for a few hours, regardless of context, is the habit that leads to stepwise growth. For me that looks like heading to a coffee shop, enjoying a latté, and committing to 3-4 hours on a single thing. But, it also looks like heading into the office for back-to-back meetings or locking myself in my room for the afternoon. The key is to stuff your phone in your backpack and turn off notifications :)
As a fellow Twitter lover I agree!
Home for work that requires individual focus and office for collaboration and collective ideation
I agree
Working from home. I work in IT and happen to be a woman. WFH has not fixed all the sexism in my field, but I don't have the worry about office politics. And I haven't had to submit any HR reports since I've been WFH. Also, my cat is a nicer coworker.
I'm sorry this happened to you, it is really hard to be a woman in tech. But I'm glad you cat is there to keep you company. I miss mine so much when I'm working from the office
Working from home office
Why do you find it more productive?
Personally i prefer working from an office it have several benefits, such as improved collaboration and communication with colleagues, access to shared resources, a more structured work environment, and opportunities for networking. However, there may also be drawbacks, such as the need to commute and a lack of flexibility in terms of work schedule. The best approach will depend on individual needs and preferences.
You are right! A face to face meeting is always more productive then a zoom one
WFH is definitely better for me as i am a college going student also work activity is enhanced when you are comfortable in your workspace
Definitely!
Working from home can have both positive and negative implications for a person's career. Here are some potential implications to consider: On the positive side, working from home can allow a person to have a more flexible schedule, which can make it easier to manage work and personal responsibilities. This can be especially beneficial for people who have young children or other family members to care for. Additionally, working from home can save time and money on commuting, which can be a major benefit for many people. On the negative side, working from home can be isolating and lack the social interaction and collaboration that can be found in a typical office environment. This can make it more difficult for people to build professional relationships and advance their careers. Additionally, working from home can be more challenging for people who have a harder time staying focused and disciplined without the structure of an office. Overall, the career implications of working from home can vary depending on the person and the job. Some people may find that it is a great fit for their needs, while others may prefer the more traditional office environment.
Well said!
Productivity wise - Working at home Mental Health - Coffee Shops or somewhere where people chatter. (good for background noise to fill in the void.)
Background noise very much distracts me, I need a silent place to work
if that works for you the best. Have you tried blocking the noise with whitenoise? Works for me, might work for you also.
It is difficult to say which is more productive for me, as it may depend on the specific tasks I am working on and my personal work style. However, I do generally find that being in the office allows me to stay focused and motivated, and I am able to get more work done in a shorter amount of time. This is likely because being in a professional environment helps me to maintain a good work-life balance and avoid distractions.
You are right, sometimes when I'm working from home even after finishing my work I can't relax
Of Course, It's obviously from office more productive for me.
For me, office would be less interference then home with my work, at home i easily get distracted by family members and so on
