Which financial decision changed your life positively?

Money is not everything, but it can be a means to generate happiness. I am just honest. :D

What steps / financial decisions changed your life for the better in the long run?

For me, these were:

• I had good academic results at school, so I received scholarships - I saved them to buy equipment (a camera) with which I could learn – now video/photo production partially earns me money.

• I started working part-time jobs at a relatively early age, so I also saved some money.

• I pitched in an accelerator, received a grant and bought the first things for a business – the business was not successful, but it encouraged me to do something.

• I divided the money into various assets that generate income.
