I've used OneNote for a long time, but I got interested in Zettelkasten recently, and I'm looking for a Visual Studio Code extension supporting that style of note-taking. I need to use VS Code for work, so using it as a note-taking tool will only help me get better at it. Plus it's very customizable.
The two extensions I'm considering are Foam and Dendron. Haven't made up my mind yet which one to use. Dendron has more features but is more complex.
I started using Evernote years ago, but it's lost on time. Require a lot of new features for still competitive.
Now I use notion for more organized things, and for fast taking notes apple notes.
For me Shepherd works well and is integrated with all the other tools we use, especially if you are a Google user! Otherwise Notion or GDocs can also do the trick. @5harath

I do use apple notes, but gotta admit there is something special that cannot beat a pen and paper :)

I just released Thunk—a free writing tool! What makes Thunk different is its approach to organization. You can organize in Your own way. You can search across all notes by content or make collections in whatever you find most sensible. More at: thunkhq.com
