I love this one – resulting in great discussions and fun insights: 'What is something completely unimportant that you have strong opinions about?'
would love to hear answers to this!
I second that. Please do tell!
Here a few examples from a previous session: - When people stop abruptly at the end of an escalator ride and you can't pass by - When you dip your butter knife into the jam jar and leave marks - Vinegar on chips: absolute no go - Sounds on mobile when you type - Cutting pizza into small triangle pieces with knife and fork instead of eating it by hand ... What would be yours?
when people are talking on their phones in public and they put it on speaker …..like they can’t hear if the phone is by their👂 ear.
What is the worst tv show you watch?
I can see the discussions coming out of this already 😂
Who is your evil alter-ego (which TV/comic/game villain did you love)? ^^Always fun to see which 'bad' characters people identify with and why. What is a smell that reminds you of childhood? ^^I find that it opens up nice stories about our upbringing and values that often don't get told.
love the evil alter-ego one. Which one is yours?
Haha, lately I've really been digging Sophie Grateau's energy (from Emily in Paris). How about you?
haha nice one. Wile E. Coyote comes to mind first – big fan of his evilness that never worked out that well since childhood...
Sophie isn't evil, she's just tired of Emily's BS hahaha
Definitely anything food related!
yess! when visiting new city/country - what are the best dishes or places have you tried?
what's your last favourite dish?
good ice breaker too :) but not to offend anyone, I'd say it all depends on the mood
If you could be a Disney cartoon character for a day, who would you be and why?
I like the breadth of interests revealed from this Q: - what's something new that you learned this past week?
super nice. what did you learn this past week?
What's your go-to karaoke song? - It's a fun question that can lead to a discussion about music and personality. Plus, who doesn't love belting out their favorite tune?
this is so great haha
now everyone wants to know: which one is yours?
"What's your body count?" definitely isn't the best, but it sure as heck turns heads lol.
in another episode of "Things which can mean two things"
and straight to HR...
Lol yeah how many confirmed kills do you have on the battlefield, mate?
"What were you like 10 years ago/in high school/last year?" It really allows people to tell their stories and you can see how they've changed throughout the years. And it's a good twist to the old "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" type of question.
haha that sparked another potential fun one 'what's the worst hairstyle you had as a teenager'
i'm here just to thank you for this discussion thread!
