What really drives users into the "aha" moment?
by•
We’ve found out that there are those who grasp the idea of our product from the very beginning and recognize the value of it.
There are others who join, use the product for a couple of minutes, and drop off.
It is not about traffic sources. It looks like it all depends on how fast they get the first result.
To the SaaS founders: Did you design your onboarding process around a certain "aha" moment?

the time to first result is a really useful metric. I’d rather measure how long it takes a new user to experience the core benefit than how many onboarding screens they complete.
I’d also look at where users drop off before reaching that first result. if people are leaving during setup, the problem might be friction before the value rather than the value itself.
