What Part of Creating Product Visuals Still Feels Surprisingly Manual?

by

Nowadays the AI is dramatically improved product visual creation, but every workflow still seems to have one step that takes more time than expected. For me, maintaining consistency across a growing catalog and creating multiple variations still requires careful review.

I'm curious how others approach it:

  • What's your current workflow that gives a better result?

  • Do you still rely on manual refinements?

I'd love to learn how different teams are tackling this challenge.

I've had the same experience. AI saves a lot of time but i still like to check every visual before using it.

Honestly the review step never really goes away, just moves earlier in the pipeline.

For us it's less the generation and more matching color grading across batches shot on different days.

Automating the whole thing is tempting, but then QA finds a stray artifact days after it's already live.

Curious if you've tried locking a seed or reference image across the set instead of prompting fresh each time.
