What I've learned making an animated series with no editing software, just a cracked phone

by

Every episode of the kids' series I make gets built on a Moto Edge 50 Fusion with a cracked screen and a volume button that stopped working months ago.

No editing suite, no timeline software, no team. Grok generates the visuals, Claude helps me script and structure episodes, InShot does the actual cutting. That's the whole pipeline.

It's slower than I'd like, but it means I plan the whole episode before I touch InShot — I can't afford to generate extra clips with Grok that I'll just end up cutting later.

Still figuring out where the ceiling is on this setup — for anyone else working with a limited toolset, what's the constraint that ended up shaping your product the most?
