What do you think the most successful people in business have in common?

There are a million books on how to become successful and what entrepreneurs do/don't do, and it's kind of attributed to that. Whether it's waking up early, meditating, or other practices.

But what do you think makes them where they are?

What contributed to the world's greatest entrepreneurs' success (qualities)?

In my opinion, it's the following things:

- They weren't afraid to delegate

- They had a group of smart people around them who were willing to test an unconventional idea (at the time)

- They were disciplined and didn't let failure or threats intimidate them

- They were doing more things (generalists, not specalists)

I think self-discipline is the foundation, and then being able to apply that to many things like:
– adapting
– delegating
– task-driven
– fearlessness (fail-fast type of attitude)

 I lack at least 3 out of 4 :D

The delegation line is the one I would put first. I sit on landing page copy for the Mac apps I work on long after someone else could have shipped it, and the extra week never makes it any better. Discipline I can fake on a bad day, that one I cannot.

I do not have that part of being too driven. I mean... I can be really quickly discouraged.

I think the biggest thing is to stay in the game long enough, not just persistent but being able to change your mind fast learn from what's working and what not and keep moving without losing the big picture

they need to be flexible that's for sure (maybe that's the reason why I haven't made it yet) :D
