What do you think Product Hunt is missing? What would you improve?
I absolutely love this platform.
The fact that I spend time here every single day is probably proof enough. 😄
That said, after spending so much time on Product Hunt, I've noticed a few basic things that I personally miss:
the ability to bookmark discussions
the option to add someone to a discussion forum as a co-creator
option to revisit “products I interacted with but forgot about” (or something like a reminder)
scheduling a post
I also kind of miss the old "Notify Me" page – I know, I'm being very nostalgic here 😄
I'm curious:
If you could add, remove, or improve one feature on Product Hunt, what would it be? (I remember that many of you used to ask for a DMs option)

Notifications is so annoying how they work and the auto rejects in posts also. Somehow it should be more open to builders and sharing ideas, commenting etc, cause I am 4 months a member and I only see very few people discuss, share etc.

@vasileiost So do you mean less strict (or more clear) rules for posting, right?
@busmark_w_nika less strict and for sure lees usage of the automated rejection thing. Its annoying and I dont feel we get the full value of the community in here.

@vasileiost I partially understand their high expectations because PH used to be full of bots. Now it feels like more humans.
@busmark_w_nika still I think ph is more about launching less of a community cause most of the users dont real engage to forums, comments etc. That's a huge miss for this platform.
I would add a better way to save and revisit discussions. Sometimes I read a useful thread, think I'll come back to this later and then it gets lost. A simple saved threads area or reminder would make the forum side much easier to use especially for people who launches and discussions daily.

@busra_seker1 This one I am also missing :)
As someone who offers services rather than software, I'd love to see better ways for makers and interested users to connect after a launch.
Not necessarily full-blown DMs, but some way for a visitor to say "I'm interested, let's talk" without leaving the platform.
Right now, Product Hunt is fantastic for discovery, but there's a pretty big gap between "I upvoted this" and "I became a customer."

@kicksaascopy it feels like some tinder feature for this platform :D
@busmark_w_nika Only if it asks for their zodiac sign 😂
Also I just like to follow what creators are doing and see what else they’re building.
I’d love a way to save/bookmark discussions too. I often find great conversations here and then struggle to find them again a few days later. 😅

@kamrankhan We are on the same page! :D

The “products I interacted with but forgot about” idea is the one I’d want most.
Product Hunt creates a lot of lightweight intent: upvotes, comments, follows, clicks, products you almost tried. But most of that intent disappears after the day ends.
A personal “research trail” would be useful for both users and makers.
For me, the ideal version is less like bookmarks and more like: “things you cared about this week, and why.”

Bookmarking discussions would be huge for me. So many launches disappear after day one and you never find out if the product actually went anywhere.
