We tested 3 organic channels for our SaaS MVP. Here is what actually generated signups.

While preparing for our launch, we spent 3 weeks testing 3 organic growth channels instead of jumping straight into paid ads:

1. Building in Public on Twitter/X: Great for founder networking, but brought very low actual SaaS signups.

2. Niche Reddit Subreddits: High intent users, but required 100% value-first posting without promotional links.

3. Interactive Micro-tools: Created a free 1-page tool that solved a small subset of our main product's problem. This drove our highest conversion rate.

Instead of generic growth advice, I’m curious about specific experiments:

>> What is ONE micro-experiment or tool you built that unexpectedly drove real users to your core product?
