We kept adding AI features, but users were still doing the same amount of work
by•
We dedicated several weeks to adding all possible AI shortcuts to our product because the idea was pretty simple – fewer clicks mean less work.
But things got really interesting once we launched.
Sure, people started to use our new functionality, but their processes did not become any faster – they simply transferred the same decisions into another interface.
This completely changed our approach towards AI.
Now, instead of asking "Where can we apply AI?", we ask ourselves "What decision or step can we eliminate?".
It may seem like a minor difference, but it significantly influences our product strategy.
Has anybody experienced a situation where people actively use your AI functionality but it does not save them any time?

AI doesn’t always save time by itself Sometimes the biggest win is removing the unnecessary step altogether I have seen this too good point
