Do you ever wonder if you are getting the Internet performance you are paying for? For most, this is too technical of a task but now, anyone, technical or non technical can monitor their Internet service and provider using www.outagesio.com. Everyone has Internet problems, some rarely, some ongoing. The hardest part and mystery for most is documenting facts in order to get help from the provider. Without facts the support call typically goes 'can you reboot your router please' then the problems come back after a while. OutagesIO shows you what is happening with your Internet service, even if your provider is not willing to admit it might be affecting others in your area. In fact, if others in your area use the service, you'll all know when the problems are affecting you or you and others in your area. We officially (for lack of better word) launched in January but it's been almost impossible to market using the same key words and phrases that huge providers and outages sites outbid us for so you'll never find services like OutagesIO that can help you. I am mainly looking for ideas on how to promote this, how to find people that are looking for us but cannot find us. Traditional Google/Bing ads and even rotating ads have all been a waste of money yet the feedback about the service is nothing less than amazing. PS: I'm new, just learning the site and will keep an eye on this page to see if I can help others as well.
