Been on this platform a month now, and genuinely think the people here are sharper than what i've found anywhere else.
Curious if that's actually held true for others when it comes to hiring.
Have you hired someone you found on ph, or been hired yourself through here.
Also curious what your actual go-to platform is for finding people, ph, linkedin, twitter or somewhere else entirely.

I’ve honestly met some great people through smaller communities. hiring is a whole different thing tho.
Idk tho, being sharp on PH doesn’t always mean you’d be good at the job.
Maybe it’s not better talent, just more people here that you actually vibe with.
For me, LinkedIn is better for finding candidates at scale, but PH is better for discovering someone unexpectedly. Some of the best people I’ve found were through conversations rather than searches.
@saman_baloch My ideal approach would probably be PH for discovery and LinkedIn for verification. I’d rather find someone through their work here and then look at their broader experience before hiring.
Regarding talent, I would say LinkedIn. That is simply relative to due to the various number of users, from job-seeker to CEO/Founder, spanning a multitude of industries. Difficult to find a consistent pool of people speaking your language. Whereas PH is more niche, relative to builders and founders specifically. I assure you almost every single user of PH that has a business or product, is also on LinkedIn, however the opposite cannot be said about PH, although I prefer communicating here more.
