I think I finally understand why some threads get approved and others don't.

I've had threads rejected. I've had threads approved. And I think I've figured out the pattern.

The rejected ones were all trying to be something. "10 lessons I learned." "Here's my framework." They read like content. Polished. Structured. A point to make.

The approved ones were just questions I actually had. No point. No lesson. Just something I was genuinely stuck on.

I saw someone else say their rejected threads "read like promotion in some way" and the one that worked was "a plain question other people could answer from their own experience, with nothing about my product in it" .

That matched my experience exactly.
