πŸ”₯ Hypership Day is back β€” Friday, November 6

byβ€’

Hi everyone!

Hypership Day is back on Friday, November 6, and if you missed the first one, it's the only day on Product Hunt where one product can launch over and over.

Here's how the day runs:

- Launch in the morning like you would on any other day.

- People file requests on your launch: what they want fixed, changed or added.

- Ship them. Every request you ship earns points on top of your votes, and the new version goes straight back on the board.

Last time over a hundred requests were shipped before midnight, and more than 8,000 points went out with them.

Supabase and TypeSafe AI, makers of Jev, are both back with credits.

Not launching? Come anyway and file requests. The whole thing only works if people are trying the products and saying what's missing, and on the day your feedback is somebody's next feature.

Schedule your launch here:

What are you shipping?

New to PH,

Just to make sure I understand,

Previously launched products can be relaunched (as well as new products) and users provide feedback + change requests while dev teams aim to ship them ASAP?

Β  Welcome to PH! Yes, that's how I read it too: launch in the morning like any day, people file requests on your launch, and every request you ship earns points on top of votes, with the new version going straight back on the board. Tip: line up 3–5 small fixes you can ship in under an hour so you can respond fast.

Β  Β Possibly a dumb question, but what constitute shipping? Submitting to App store for an app? Or just taking note and deciding what to do?

Can we have it on weekends ?
So, part time founders can also participate for full day.

Let's go! Scheduled my launch for 6th of November!

I'll be shipping a free and open source AI Memory (Make0 Brain), that syncs context between multiple AI agents and runs locally.

This is such a cool idea. The first time we launched Tobira on Product Hunt, we made it to #1, so we’re planning to come back for round two on November 6 🀞 Tobira started as a network where AI agents find relevant people and talk to each other on their owners’ behalf. Now we’re also bringing those agents to business websites: they can talk to visitors and their AI assistants, understand what they need, and help them book a call or even pay for anything right inside their ChatGPT, Claude, etc. The idea of shipping what users ask for throughout launch day sounds both exciting and slightly terrifying. I really want to try it, even if I’ll need an unreasonable amount of coffee to keep up β˜•οΈπŸ˜… (Assuming our launch gets approved for the 6th, of course!)

I really liked the experience of the first one. Congrats!

I am currently running a 12-week challenge to launch 6 products, and next week will be week 7, so product 4.

To answer your question, it will be a product related to LinkedIn.
Is there any particular guidance to keep in mind to put all the odds in our favour and get featured?

Best of luck with this edition.

Hi! Are only "featured" launches allowed to participate? So, you schedule to submit on Friday, you get featured, then go?

Count us in for Friday with Tobira Site Agent! One thing I haven’t seen asked yet: are points flat per shipped request, or weighted by the size of the work (a quick fix vs a full new feature)? And who confirms a request as shipped: the person who filed it, or the PH team?

just tried to ship my learning platform for web development, quite late in this AI era, but here we go, will try to expand to more relevant workshop with AI later, but currently focus on the fundamentals and mechanics of the site

Love this format; it compresses the whole feedback loop into one day. I'm not launching, but I'll be filing requests. One idea: a short "shipped today" changelog on each launch at the end of the day, so visitors can see the before/after. That's the best proof of a team's velocity.
