How to get a great launch on Product hunt?

I've been lurking on Product Hunt for a while before launching my own app today.
One pattern I keep noticing: products with bigger teams — or at least teams that look bigger — tend to dominate the leaderboard.
More makers = more built-in upvoters on day one.

the first few hours seem really important. a bigger team can create that early push more easily.
As a solo maker i really feel this. building the product is one thing getting people to notice it is another.
