How often do you go back and read your own automated onboarding emails?

by•

Checked our automated signup emails today and realized half of them were talking about old features we removed months ago.

New users get these right away, so sending outdated instructions creates a terrible first impression.

It was a quick fix, but made me realize how fast lifecycle messages get stale.

Do you guys review your email flows every few months or only when making a big product change?

i think it’s easy to forget about these emails once they’re set up. then the product changes and the emails stay the same.

I'd probably check them every few months. Small product chnage can make old emails wrong.

we usually remember to check emails after a big upadte.

old feature names can be confusing for new users. they have no idea how the product worked before.
