How do you modify your marketing strategy to show up in LLMs results?

Almost everything starts to be only the "prompt" and the "overview result" in LLMs.

As for our effort with minimalist phone we started doing 3 things:

– our blog articles are containing the section FAQ at the end of each article

– we also started testing ChatGPT ads

– we increased our effort to be seen in online magazines that are likely to be quoted

What does your marketing effort to be listed in LLM answers look like?

How cheap/ expensive are ChatGPT ads compared to google ads? And which magazines do you think are likely to be quoted?

Forbes or BBC are quite quoted, so we usually need to talk about things like digital detox, smartphone addiction etc.

I haven't checked the budget when it comes to ChatGPT ads. Probably, this will be managed by an external performance agency.

I don't think ChatGPT ads guarantee the likelihood of LLM citations. I could be wrong though, so would love to hear more about what you're seeing. This is our current focus at Zalcro as well

I mean that LLM citations and ads are 2 separate techniques, but still happening inside the GPT dashboard.

Nika, I'm keeping mine simple: first-hand content. If an article only repeats what's already out there, I don't see why a model would quote it. I'm going back through my own articles for exactly that right now. The ChatGPT ads test is interesting though, I'd love to hear the numbers once you have them!

How do you make the articles "special" after the AI is on the market?
