Does anyone have incubation experience? I have been selected for SMU BIG incubation August 2026 cohort. The incubation period is for 4 months where they would closely mentor and help in securing funding as well. Just want to know from others who have had similar experience in any incubation? How did it help your startup and what were your takeaways?

I'd ask mentors for blunt feedback on customer validation not just pitch decks.
@bradywilfaqn Noted on this. Definitely looking for the mentor's feedback. It'll help in polishing the rough edges. My SaaS product is live and now wordking to get the customer validation.
II got great value from my incubator by focusing heavily on customer interviews rather than just preparing pitch slides.

Me focusing on unit economics during incubation made our follow up investor meetings significantly more successful and direct.
@henryevans11 Yes. Unit economics can make the growth story much more concrete, especially when discussing scalability and fundraising.
I recommende recordnig every mentor session so your team can review actionable feedback without losing important details.
