Do you work weekends? If you don't work, what do you prefer to do?

No! No one should do that. You should maintain a work-life balance to stay motivated and productive. The best way to burn yourself out and get older quickly is to work on your rest days.

I have consciously chosen not to work on weekends. Whether I have an endless list of tasks or not, I prioritize my time off and mindfully choose to spend time with family and friends, as I do not have time with them during the week. I have found that this does wonders for my mental health and productivity too!
For me, weekends are for family time and recharging.

I have a general rule not to work weekends, but if I have bigger personal commitments during the week that need to take priority, I'll shift some work to the weekends. This happens about once a month or less only.

I generally like to at least do a bit of work on Sundays to get set up for the week, usually sometime earlier in the day. That way I feel ready for the week ahead and I can go enjoy the rest of the weekend. It's not uncommon to work more than a few hours either, but generally I like to save weekends for the more interesting projects / work that I can get into when I can. Plus, it always helps when you're passionate about what you do. Overall though I try to limit myself to the "week prep" work on Sundays.

Sometimes I have things to do. But in general I try to avoid it. I try to spend at least two hours with my family every day and the full weekend. Also, based on valid feedback from my wife, I try to get away from screens. Since I played guitar (always with Garage Band or Fender Play) or game with my son... it always involved a screen. Now I switched to go kajaking, hiking, swimming in the lake... just something outside. It made me much calmer and I can refill my batteries to be ready to hustle again during the week.

Reflecting and writing on a blog is something that I've been doing recently. Helps me to process all the things that I've consumed throughout the week. I find that sometimes "consuming" too much can become very draining. Happy to hear your thoughts! @lolas
