Hi !
I always like to plan as I feel it helps me manage my time more efficiently. I like to spend my Sunday afternnon planning the new week and writing all the tasks I want to accomplish that week.

Hi!
I usually have a basic idea of what I'd like to do for the day but it's never set in stone. I rarely plan my days to the minute to avoid being frustrated.. As we all know that "life happens" and it's quite easy to see your plans disrupted by something you didn't expect.
As a developer, I like to plan and keep track of what I have to do in Jira or a tool or the sort. When I start my day I select a few items I think are doable within the time I have. But unless I have a deadline, I don't stress out if I can't finish the tasks I had planned.
I try to stick with my "5 minutes before - 5 minutes after" routine meaning that I'll use five minutes before every day to see what kind of day is coming (typically calendar sets the tone) and then list most important things (2-4) I need to accomplish during the day. Then after my workday, I use five minutes to reflect on what I accomplished and already take a look at how tomorrow looks and list a few items to be accomplished tomorrow.
To keep this routine going it is important for me to keep my notebook on my table and that triggers me to do it every day. I like doing it in a traditional way since everything else is digital.

I like to plan some general key tasks / initiatives that have to get done, and I will make sure to knock them out no matter what
After that, it is based on whatever comes up / whatever is regular within my general routine
Helps keep a structure as well as forward progress guaranteed, while still having some flexibility if problems or things that need immediate attention come up
I try to plan my day in advance but mostly end up doing what feels in the moment.
This was a trait that helped me build stuff too

Prefer planning in Advance. To-Do List always helps me in managing & completing it on time.

Hey! Your question really made me introspect and I realized that I do plan my day- but it is more like "what to do" rather than "when to do"
I may have a to-do list but I seldom follow the chronological order in it. So although I plan the daily activities in advance so that nothing gets missed out but then as the day moves, I go with the flow!

I plan only what has to get done at a certain time. Everything else I use to fill the cracks.

It seems fifty-fifty in this conversation .
I like to plan for a long period in advance and my calendar is my memory :D
Often, things go with a flow and are not exactly like planned, but the calendar and planning bring me certainty and release my capacity.
I usually don't make rigid plans for the day, but set a few tasks and goals and maybe potential times in the day when I'll take care of them. Usually, I plan on the same day in the morning.
