Building a startup is hard 😅. Remember to celebrate the journey.
When you’re building a startup, nothing is ever enough.
More users, a new feature, a bug. MRR, churn. It's hustling all the time. and pretty uncomfortable sometimes.
I tend to forget the day to day, and just think about tomorrow.
One of my best memories with my co-founder was travelling to the US together.
Two trips, East Coast and West Coast. Ten-hour flights each way.

We met customers and friends, had NY bagels, and even got chased by some weird guy in SF at night 🤣
This weekend, he’s getting married. And I can’t wait to celebrate with him.
So it's a good moment to celebrate the journey!
There were weeks over the last two years when I spent more time with him than with my own wife ðŸ«
We went from two strangers in an Antler cohort to running a profitable, bootstrapped company.
Pivoted a couple of times (gets less painful as you go), built an enterprise B2B feedback repository platform @Dolphin AI that got product 5 of the day, a B2C/Prosumer AI tool @Pretty Prompt that got product 2 of the day TWICE 😅, scaled to thousands of users, and billions of AI requests purely PLG.
We kept it fully bootstrapped with 0 outside investment, 0 paid ads, 0 anything.
Best advice I can give to others: Find a co-founder or team, you share the same values, and still laugh together after a 10 hour flight across the Atlantic.
Today Charlie joins customer calls, handles support, and does growth as a CTO.
I push code into production, dig into analytics, and build as a CEO.
We keep learning from each other. And we still have a laugh while doing it.
I’m proud of what we’ve achieved. So this weekend, we’re celebrating 🥂
Everyone in PH is building something. Otherwise you would not be here! So make sure you celebrate the journey.
