Browser Extensions, dead or used and useful?
Hey folks! Given we're not in the era of vibe coded solutions and AI <something something>, I was wondering what the current sentiments are around browser extensions. Your interactions with the internet and web tend to be using either a browser or an app and we're all pretty fed up with the levels of intrusive behaviours affecting our every day life. With the rise of LLMs and interacting with everything via natural language, are we about to jump over browser extensions? Or, for purpose specific human activities, do they still have their place?
I'd love to know more about what those views are! Do you use Browser Extensions? Do you have any favourites? Do you trust them? What do you get out of them? Are they best served as an 'extension' of something larger? Or do you find them as independent products?
