Anthropic dropped job positions affected by AI and Robots. Is it time to requalify?
Anthropic created an article where they showcased areas /industries/ that are the most and the least affected by AI or AI an Robots.
Most exposed in general are:
Management
Business & Financial
Computer & Math
Legal
Arts, design and media
Office & Admin support
+ Sales + Food preparation & Serving + Transporation & Moving + Production + Farming = when it comes to robots
Relatively safe are:
Installation & Repair
Personal care & service
Healthcare support
Education
Communiy & Service
Where would you like to stand?
I think that the safest and most fitting for me would be in Education and Community & Social Service.
I can imagine that requalification courses will be huge thing.

The "AI will take all your jobs" lab really wondering why the public sentiment is against them.
No job is safe, the career change and newcomers alone will collapse wages in the fields people want to run towards.
The only play is either securing your own livelihood, or building a community that does it collectively.
@build_with_aj The conditions are changing, normally there should be a new type of job, but we still do not know what kind of positions should be created.
@busmark_w_nika The doomer in me says soylent factory worker but robots will do that.
Ultimately economics will decide. There are certain things where humans are cheaper.
Art is weird, because all of the contract work seems to be gone.
Every day I convince myself there is hope I pray to a long gone shadow that I'm not delusional.
Rational people live sad lives sometimes. We live and breathe melancholy.
@build_with_aj I am really melancholic lol
@build_with_aj I like the idea of how AI will affect wages and salaries. Do think an employee using AI to accomplish the job faster and effectively should be paid less? I will argue otherwise.
Very interesting, AI will replace some jobs for sure, especially white collar jobs. Look at the image posted, from top right Management towards bottom right Arts, design &media, then office admin & clerical jobs. Robots are far behind but I think Intelligent Automation (Robots is next to take other jobs but not any time soon). Installation & Repair and Quality Control jobs will remain available way much longer. I will focus on Quality Control jobs because the fine print of every AI models says "AI can makes mistakes". And it does sometimes.
@richatsealedvault I remember how we thought that white-collar jobs would be safe. We were so wrong.
@busmark_w_nika Isn't that interesting. Once the knowledge base is in the hands of a computer those white collar jobs are gone forever. What is more is that these AI models are able to do better research via pattern recognition and pathways that human research took years to find so you can imagine what happens to researchers and new inventions. I think the white color jobs that will remain are those who know how to employ AI to get meaningful outputs.
