A small signal we started noticing in B2B sales

by

Not every prospect asking questions is actually close to buying.

One pattern we’ve started paying more attention to:

Interested prospects often ask:

“What other features do you have?”

Prospects who seem closer to changing their workflow ask:

“How would we get this working for our team?”

The second question is much more specific. They’re already imagining implementation rather than simply evaluating possibilities.

It has made us think differently about qualification. Instead of treating every positive conversation as buying intent, we look for signs that the prospect is mentally moving from exploring to implementing.

For other B2B builders:

What question or behavior tells you a prospect is genuinely getting serious about adopting your product?
