500 Days on Product Hunt — What’s Kept You Coming Back?
Today marks my 500th day in a row on Product Hunt, and I wanted to share a few reflections from this journey, in case it sparks ideas or conversation with others in the community.

What began as casual browsing turned into a daily routine that taught me a lot about consistency, product discovery, and the value of thoughtful engagement.
A Quick Look Back
Over these 500 days, I’ve:
Earned 6,450+ points
Hunted or supported 80+ products
Connected with 3,000+ makers and founders
Learned something new almost every day
But more than the numbers, it’s the people and products that have kept me coming back.
A Few Suggestions for the Community
As a regular user, here are some features I’d love to see:
Hidden Gems Section – A weekly spotlight for quality products that didn’t get much visibility on launch day.
Role-Based Discovery – Let users filter tools by roles (e.g., marketer, dev, designer) to find what’s most relevant.
More Recognition for Contributors – Makers are vital, but so are commenters, hunters, and feedback-givers. Highlighting them could foster even deeper engagement.
I’m curious to hear from others in the community:
➡ What keeps you returning to Product Hunt?
➡ What changes or features would you love to see here?
Let’s share ideas that can help shape a better experience for everyone ✨
