Hello Product Hunt. 👋 This year, my mission is to help as many people as possible learn how to grow their own food, discover the natural living mechanisms and save biodiversity as well. This is the reason why I designed and developed Garden+ and this is the application I am presenting to you today. 😍 THE APP Garden+ helps you easily track and schedule your daily garden activities and succeed in all your sowing and planting. It's a gardening journal that you can take with you anywhere. ðŸŠī THE FEATURES - Add and schedule your daily garden activities, - Add photos and comments (notes) to your activities, - Find the ideal dates for your sowing and planting, - Customize your own gardening calendar, - And learn more about nature and permaculture. THE FUTURE I have some ideas to improve the app in future updates but I look forward to your feedbacks. ðŸĪ” - An iPad and Mac version, - A dark mode, - A calendar with more vegetables and also with herbs and flowers, - Indoor and balcony plants, - More richly detailed vegetable sheets, - A Wordle-like in-app game to learn by having fun, - New activity categories such as harvesting and weeding, - Better translation and new languages such as German, Italian and Portuguese, - And new articles to make the vegetable garden even more accessible. I can't wait to have a chat with you about this app or just the gardening. And, of course, if you like it feel free to share this launch to the world. ðŸĪ—
awesome alex ! really usefull ! my vegetables thanks u !
Thank you very much, Fred.
perfect timing — I just built and planted three raised garden beds! In your description it says the app is 100% free, but there's a $2.99 IAP. That seems a little misleading? (I'm not opposed to you having a way to support your development, just claiming that the app is "100% free").
Thank you, Chris. Raised beds are great, they're perfect for root/leaf vegetables. Half of my vegetable garden is about low level raised beds. I think you're right. Basically what I mean is that 100% of the basic features of the app are free. But you can unlock some more, which could be the equivalent of 120% or something. I overcomplicated this part.
Coming from the countryside, I can definitely see how this is such a great product! Congrats!
Thanks a lot, Andrei. Countryside for the win!
Oh this looks like so much fun for a newbie gardener (as myself!), and super helpful! Any plans for Android? Congrats on all the hard work behind it!
Thanks! My advice as a gardener would be to not overcomplicate things. Simply choose the plants you want to grow and focus on soil health. Nature will do the magic as it has done for millions of years. Also, the Android app is definitely a future goal but for now I still focus on my SwiftUI learning journey.
Also, feel free to check out the Youtube channel of Charles Dowding. This is the best way to learn gardening after my app of course. 😉
I have a small backyard garden, and I can't wait to use this app! Congrats on creating such a user-friendly and well-designed tool for gardeners.
Thanks a lot, Ionut. This year, my mission is clearly to show as many people as possible how great gardening is.
You can use block notes to track and schedule your daily garden activities, but it's so boring! Why not try this app? I'm going to use this Alexandre. This is going to be greatðŸ”Ĩ
Thank you, Vlad. I'll definitely add new activity categories in the future and make scheduling/planning easier.
My dad's a hobby gardener!! I think this would be a perfect Father's Day gift!
I agree, it's the best gardening app on the App Store. Thanks! ✌ïļ
Bravo on your launch! Best of luck on your journey! 🚀
Congratulations on your new product release! I can tell you put a lot of hard work and effort into it.
You're right, being a solo maker (designer + developer) is a lot of work. Thank you, Ruby.
Congrats on the new product release, such an helpful and user-friendly tool for gardeners!
