I like it, but it highjacked my new tab in Chrome... is there a way to turn that function off without deactivating the extension completely.

You can download the desktop app and remove the Chrome app. To add the desktop app from Chrome, just click on the ... on the left sidebar by Activity Feed and select "Manage Apps". You’ll see a Mac or Windows icon on both of those screens, click to download.
Thanks!!! I can't believe I missed that, I saw the Apple logo and my mind automatically went to iCloud, not Mac app.

This is a great idea! Although, I'm curious about the security of the documents on fyi. How much information of the docs can you (fyi) read, parse and organize? Can you elaborate a little bit more on how the document owner can keep their information protected?

Hi. Trying to install the windows version but Windows Defender won't let it install? Am I missing something.

Not missing anything. Windows take a number of installs before the app gets past Windows Defender. Would you mind emailing me what you are seeing?
Dear FYI - I use my gmail account for business. Please don't block me, or force me to create another email address to use your product.

You can sign up using your personal email, just select personal instead of work on the "What would you like to use FYI for?" screen
Pretty cool idea . Cant wait to try it. Quick question - The hero image on your website shows Evernote....but there is no Evernote integration?

It gives me a ton of warnings when trying to install the Windows version and then when I try to install it, it says I don't have permissions to access. So I couldn't install and gave up. Just FYI :p

can you not search by recent activity for google drive docs that you are actually apart of not just the entire organization's recent activity? Makes it useless otherwise IMO
