This is actually a fun idea getting pets to look at the camera is half the battle if this works reliably it will save a lot of wasted shots

@simon_clarkson Haha, exactly! We always say that in pet photography, 'patience is a virtue, but a good tool is a lifesaver.' I built this because I got tired of having 100 blurry photos of my dog's ear and zero of his face. 🐶

Does the on device AI differentiate between a pet looking at the camera versus looking slightly past it? That tiny difference matters a lot for great pet photos, cool idea!

It's not that precise yet because Apple's Vision framework doesn't provide this capability. I'm planning a Smart Photo Selection feature that will automatically identify photos in the gallery where pets are 'looking directly at the camera'.
