Hey everyone,
I'm the CTO of Front. We build an app to help companies handle their external enquiries as a team.
After working on email and Twitter, we decided to takle SMS when we realized that there was no off-the-shelf solution and that many companies resorted to have a single phone and run from office to office (true story) to answer SMS.
We integrate with Twilio (already working on other providers): just give us access to our account and you'll be able to collaborate on your existing numbers.
Very interesting SMS approach to to supply-side organization -- Homejoy and Rickshaw are early customers.
Reason I posted this product: I'm very curious about how which products "on demand" startups recommend when launching a new business.
I've never seen a definitive list and it would be interesting to see how companies in the space approach operations.
@rrhoover I'd love to see a collection of tools for on demand companies - there are so many different approaches, and it would interesting to hear how startups approach supply side utilization.
