The feature I wanted most and didn't build
Last spring I sat with a spreadsheet at 11pm, reconciling what my care home needed against what the cafe needed and what FounderFlow's own beta needed, thinking: I'd pay real money for one thing that just told me which fire to put out first, across all three.
That's the feature I wanted most - cross-business context, one system that knows I'm not just a founder, I'm three overlapping operators wearing one brain. And I didn't build it.
Here's why: the first people who'll actually trust this with their inbox are single-business founders, not multi-business ones like me. Building for my own most complicated case first would mean optimizing for a market of one.
So the roadmap says no to the feature I want most, for now. It's still on the list, just not first.
Anyone else had to consciously not build the thing you personally wanted most, because your first real users needed something simpler?
