FFFFinder - Browse images and videos across folders in one grid

I always wished I could select a folder in Finder and just see all the images and videos scattered across its subfolders in one place. Instead, I have to click through a tree of folders, going in and out, just to look at things. Adobe Bridge used to do that, but who wants to use it? So I decided to build FFFFinder, a quick and beautiful tool that lets me drag in a folder and browse all the media inside without digging through subfolders. FFFFinder flattens any folder and all of its subfolders into one continuous grid. It works directly with the original files, so there’s nothing to import, move, duplicate, or add to a separate library. Everything stays exactly where it is on the Mac. The app simply removes the folder maze and lets me browse the media directly. FFFFinder supports common image, video, and RAW formats, and browsing through thousands of files is fast. You can search, filter and sort files, adjust the grid density, preview images and videos, and browse archives directly from connected external drives. I’ve been using it with my own photo archives for a while, and today I’m releasing it publicly for the first time.
